Holistic Defense

Holistic Defense is learning about and integrating seemingly disparate parts of a life so they may be presented as a whole person before people in positions of power within the criminal justice system. Holistic Defense entails presently investigating and mitigating the past so the future is more clear and not bound by the past. Everyone who touches the criminal justice system has a background, a present, and a future; therefore, Holistic Defense is possible in every case.

However, the definition of Holistic Defense really depends on your client and what they need in the moment you are before them.

I wrote a book called Holistic Defense: A Practice, and you may purchase it from the “Book” tab on this site!
